Some trips are about the sights. Others are about the pace. This one? This was about softness—the kind you feel in your skin, in your energy, and in the way you move through a place.
I wanted to take you through one full day—not rushed, not packed with plans. Just real beauty, quiet rituals, and the kind of glow that comes from taking your time.
Morning Glow: Woke Up With the Sun
There’s something about waking up early when you’re not expected to. I opened the balcony door, let the breeze in, and did my skincare barefoot. No mirror. Just touch.
What I used:
- U Beauty Face Wash (gentle, fast rinse)
- SK-II Essence (because I needed that reset energy)
- U Beauty Eye Cream (it always de-puffs me just enough)
- Mad Hippie Vitamin C (light but gives glow)
- Alastin Tinted SPF (no cast, no fuss)
Then I made a cafecito and sat on the balcony in silence. Sometimes the glow is from the product—and sometimes it’s from the pause.

Midday Reset: Poolside, Unbothered
Pool day, no plans. That’s when skincare needs to be light but layered. I kept things simple, but everything I used had a job.
In my bag:

- Eucerin Oil Control SPF (reapplied like religion)
- Summer Fridays Lip Butter (hydrated but glossy)
- Rhode Pocket Blush in Freckle (no brush needed)
- Eye patches from 111SKIN (yes, at the pool—I don’t care)
- Caudalie Beauty Elixir (light mist, light mood)
No full glam, just skin that could breathe.
Slow Dinner Energy: Linen, Sandals, and a Soft Face
Dinner was barefoot-in-sand vibes, so the makeup stayed minimal. I did my routine with one soft light on and music playing—something about that felt like a reset.
Night prep:
- U Beauty Face Wash again
- U Beauty Resurfacing Compound (only at night, smooths everything)
- Medicube Sheet Mask (cold from the fridge = heaven)
- Rhode Glazing Milk (extra bounce)
- Summer Fridays Lip Balm
No foundation, just concealer + brow gel. Sometimes soft is the point.
Wind Down: Skin First, Always
Back in bed with a cold room, warm blanket, and clean face. I journaled a little. I scrolled a little. But the best part was doing nothing well.
That’s what soft girl travel is to me: quiet care, real skin, and no pressure to be on. Just present.
XO Selina
